Classes are Saturday, Aug 26 & Saturday, Sept 2 from 1-3:30PM. These classes are project-based and this project is to make slab vases. The first day is to make your project and the second day is to decorate and finish it. These two dates may not be purchased separately nor will refunds be given if you only go to one. 
Includes 2.5 hours of hands-on instruction each week, use of community tools, clay, and underglazes and slips, and firing for the finished project. Handbuilding, which includes slab building, pinching, and coiling, is a traditional method of creating with clay in which you use your hands and a variety of tools to form the clay, NOT a pottery wheel.
